Well I hope you all have, if not a happy new year, then at least one with a measure of increased success and hope than the last.

This year will see a number of plans hatched by Boulty & myself take shape. The breakup of our band Anæmic was a blow and a severe disappointment after so many years, but we're gonna turn that floundered ship around. Over the last month we've collectively spent nearly £600 on new microphones and over the coming months we will do our damnedest to make that investment pay for itself. As studio ventures go we're starting with humble beginnings but we have no intention of remaining that way.

With a little from word of mouth and a lot of help from selective plugging we will hopefully make a good name for ourselves. And eventually, we might actually make this our living. You have to have a goal, and one thing we both know is that we don't want to spend the rest of our working lives as someone elses undervalued employee.

As far as our own music goes, we're working on new songs with me on drums. And we may be forming some kind of grindcore project with others we know. We'll see how that all works out.
