Studio developments
Well I worked out exactly how much money Boulty and I have ploughed into the studio over the last couple of months and the total made me shiver a little. It's a big investment for us even if the number is pretty paltry compared to any normal business.

We're getting the place sorted as best we can. The biggest alteration we're making is to the control room. At the moment we're relying on crappy old bedroom desks for the gear which is hardly ideal. So we're constructing a custom setup. Heres the plans of what we're making:



Now, if our timber supplier hadn't turned into a massive cockup we would have had this built and completed by the end of the weekend. Of course life is never that simple. The guy who was supposed to be seeing to cutting the pieces to size gave his assurances that all would be taken care of and then promptly fucked off on holiday. So what should have been straightforward has instead turned into a massive pain for all concerned. Still, we have much of the needed materials, we just need the large MDF sections.

So most of my weekend will be spent re-wiring the room electrics to add some new power points and mounting the desk framework. Fun shit.
